What is NoFools?

NoFools is one of the first "Real World" security consultancies.  Based on nearly 30 years in the computer services industry and over 10 years specifically dealing with security, our founder, Kevin Else, saw a need for security advice that met the two competing demands of service availability and security compliance.

Having seen the problem from both sides, and the extreme hype that IT security generates, the need for cost effective, focused and no nonsense security guidance was very apparent.

The security market is very self perpetuating, and each new identified risk appears to need a new solution. What is often not apparent is that the vast majority of security solutions are only windows onto existing facilities. Very few provide something new. Thus NoFools restricts itself to selling advice, not products.
